Participant rules Peelbergen training show

 

  • For everyone the entrance is via the truck parking lot. Upon arrival you have to register here.
  • The riders/grooms/trainers and horse owners are welcome to come and can register themself at arrival. We are not open for general public.
  • There is a special parking space for passenger cars. The trucks are parked next to each other with ample room in between each truck.
  • Follow the path from the parking to the warm-up arena in East arena. Here you can warm-up (flatwork – no jumping).
  • Five combinations before your turn, an obstacle will be assigned to you by the steward in the jumping warm-up arena (usually the show arena). This is your private obstacle for you to warm-up.
  • The individuals who raise/lower the obstacles must wear gloves.
  • If you want to lunge, this is possible in the outdoor lunge pens. Follow the signage ‘Longing’. Please note that there is one way traffic!
  • Two riders are allowed in the training arena at the same time. Make sure you are ready to jump the course in time.
  • If you want to jump an extra round and have not registered this before, you can indicate this after your first round to the arena steward. This round must be paid DIRECTLY with the steward at the bar in the paviljoen(can only be done by debit card payment). You will receive the pin receipt immediately, if you would like an invoice, you can indicate this to the steward. The invoice will be send by email at the end of the day.
  • As soon as you have finished your course, you must leave the arena through the gate near the indoor arena. The cooling down can be done in the indoor arena.

 

Other rules Peelbergen training show

  • Keep your distance from others – MINIMUM 1.5 meters
  • There are no rankings and no prize money
  • It is required to ride in official show clothes
  • Always follow the one-way traffic
  • The pavilion will be closed until 1 June and bringing and consuming your own drinks is allowed
  • Registrations will only be accepted if they have been paid.
  • Persons who raise / lower the obstacles must wear gloves
  • Warming-up (flatwork) is done in the warm-up arena of arena East
  • Warming-up (jumping) is done in show arena East
  • You can cancel your training round free of charge until the day before the training (no later than 11:00 AM).
  • The start lists will be published a day in advance at around 1:00 PM (online.equipe.com). The course sketch including distances will also be published here. It is not possible to walk the course beforehand.
  • Entries are possible one week before from Wednesday (6:00 pm) up to and including the day prior to the relevant training day (11:00 am). If registrations go fast, the registration may be closed earlier.

 

Additional rules & COVID-19 measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus

These rules are drawn up in line with the measures put in place by the Government of the Netherlands. These rules should be strictly followed at all times!

  • Keep your distance from others – MINIMUM 1.5 meters
  • If you or someone you live with have respiratory problems or a fever you cannot use of our facilities
  • Do not shake hands with others
  • When coughing or sneezing cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue
  • Plastic gloves must be worn when raising/lowering the obstacles*

 

Beside the rules above also our standard rules apply

  • Riders must wear a riding helmet at all times when on the horse.
  • Lunging is only permitted in the designated arenas.
  • Please do not leave any rubbish behind in the parking area.
  • It is not allowed to let your horse walk on the grass, use the tarmac paths.
  • You are expected to clean up your horse’s manure in the arenas yourself
  • Please do not allow your horse to chew the fencing or the edges of the arena.
  • When cruelty to horses is detected, the disciplinary law of the KNHS can be invoked, and the organization can also deny access to the center to those involved.
  • Entering the premises of Equestrian Centre de Peelbergen is entirely at your own risk. The organization explicitly excludes liability for the occurrence and consequences of accidents, as well as the liability arising from loss, theft or damage of goods whereby participants, employees, visitors, horses or materials are involved.
