In the province of Limburg a competition for young jumping horses is organised each year. The KWPN-Limburg Stal Hendrix Competition is a KWPN-Limburg initiative, made possible by Stal Hendrix. This competition for 4-year-old and 5-year-old jumping horses has over the years become a good benchmark for both breeder and rider and for the jumping talent of their horses. The cycle has four selection competitions and a final during the main KWPN mare grading show in Sevenum, de Peelbergen. The 30 best horses per age category and selected during 3 pre-competitions are invited for the final.

Monday, May 20, 2019, equestrian sports association Haelen organizes Ride & Run for the third time. The route will start at Equestrian Centre de Peelbergen and is plotted through the wood and the grandorse area. The teams consist of 1 rider / 1 runner, 2 riders / 1 runner or 1 rider / 2 runners.
