The Peelbergen Hunter Talent Search will take place on July 4–5, 2026, on Peelbergen Equestrian Centre’s grass arena.
Held in the same weekend of the CSIO3* Longines EEF Series Semifinal, this international event introduces the American hunter discipline to Europe at a high-performance level, while creating a dynamic connection between European breeders and the U.S. market.
The competition is produced by Andrew Lustig, co-founder of the Baran Global Hunter Tour, in collaboration with Patricia Van Motman. It builds on the momentum of the Baran’s 2025 edition in Valkenswaard, which became one of the most widely viewed hunter competitions to date.
The Peelbergen format emphasizes both sport and education. A carefully selected group of top European horses will compete over a traditional grass hunter course, evaluated by leading American “Big R” judges who will also provide live commentary to offer insight into the discipline. The event will be broadcast internationally on ClipMyHorse, and accompanied by a lifestyle documentary series led by Carly Rein.
The Peelbergen Hunter Talent Search represents a key moment for the growth of the hunter discipline in Europe, combining top-level sport, education, and international visibility within a single, focused event.
