It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Akhal-Teke Championship on 4 – 6 September 2026, a prestigious event dedicated to celebrating the beauty, elegance, and heritage of the remarkable Akhal-Teke horse breed.

This special championship will take place in die Niederlande (near the Belgium and German boarder) and will bring together breeders, owners, riders, and enthusiasts from around the world.

The event is organized in collaboration with Turkmen Atlary (www.turkmenatlary.gov.tm/en), honouring the deep cultural roots and national significance of the Akhal-Teke horse in Turkmenistan. This occasion is made even more meaningful as it coincides with the Year of the Horse, making it a truly symbolic moment to celebrate this extraordinary breed.

The championship will be hosted at one of the largest and most renowned equestrian competition venues in the Netherlands, Peelbergen (www.peelbergen.eu)— a location where horse owners and professionals from around the world gather to present their horses at the highest level of sports.

Uniquely, this championship will bring together Turkmenistan (Turkmen Atlary), Russia (VNIIK), and Europe (ATHA).
